# Update Credentials in RLCL

> Replaces all credentials in an RLCL with the provided list. This completely replaces the existing credential list.

## Endpoint

```
PUT /apiops/projects/{projectName}/rlcl/{rlclName}/credentials/
```

## Authentication

Requires a Personal API Access Token.

### Header

```
Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN
```

## Request

Same structure as Add Credentials. See [Add Credentials](/api-reference/rlcl/credentials/add-credentials) for field descriptions.

### Important Notes

* This endpoint replaces ALL existing credentials with the provided list
* If you want to add credentials without removing existing ones, use Add Credentials endpoint

## Response

Same as Add Credentials. See [Add Credentials](/api-reference/rlcl/credentials/add-credentials) for response format.

## Permissions

* User must have **`IDENTITY` + `MANAGE`** permission in the project

## Notes and Warnings

* **Complete Replacement**:
  * Replaces ALL existing credentials with the provided list
  * Existing credentials not in the new list are removed
* **Use Add Credentials for Addition**:
  * If you want to add credentials without removing existing ones, use Add Credentials endpoint
